At Knox Netball we run social netball competitions for all skill levels, including a popular indoor mixed netball competition on Sunday afternoon/night and an indoor ladies netball on Wednesday and Friday morning during the school terms with free childminding. Our netball centre also plays weeknight ladies netball from Monday to Thursday and local netball clubs play senior and junior netball on Saturdays organised by Mountain District Netball Association.

Knox City Council Netball Competitions & Netball Programs

We currently run three netball competitions for teams and players of all skill levels including:

• Sunday Evening Mixed Netball
• Wednesday Morning Ladies Netball
• Friday Morning Ladies Netball
• Net Set GO! program for 5-9 year olds in Term 2 and Term 3.

All of our netball games are played on full size indoor netball courts and qualified umpires are provided.

Free Child-minding Service
Our two social mid-week ladies competitions on Wednesday and Friday mornings offer a free child-minding service for babies to pre-school aged children while your team plays. Our childminding service is regulated by DHS and has four qualified childcare staff.

How to Register Your Netball Team
We run two seasons per year. Our Winter season runs from February to June, and our Spring season runs from July to December. Registrations for teams open several weeks before each season starts but there are often vacancies throughout the year so please contact us first.

If you would like to register your netball team, please call us on (03) 9758 7191 or email knox.netball@knox.vic.gov.au to find out if we have any current vacancies for new teams. You can download an entry form in the Downloads section and return it to the centre.

Players Wanted
The centre has a register for individual players who want to join an existing netball team and teams who are looking for extra players. Weeknight Netball & Saturday Netball Competitions

Mountain District Netball Association (MDNA) currently run ladies netball competitions Monday to Thursday nights from 6.30pm. They also organise the Saturday netball competition for juniors 11 and Under to Open age.
