Illawarra Youth Girls AFL
The NSW/ACT U18 National Team of 24 includes the some of the states best female AFL talent. With strong representation from the Canberra, Wagga and Riverina areas, the selection of 8 Illawarra based players demonstrates the dedication and committment of our girls.
Representing the State whilst a huge honour if also very costly with each player having to personally contribute $1000 towards costs.

To celebrate International Womens Day, the AFL NSW/ACT hosted a seven's tournament at the Sydney Olympic Site at Homebush. This year there was the inaugural Seven's tournament. Three Youth Girls teams participated from the Illawarra Region.

The keenest rivalry in the competition rears it's head in the second Youth Girls Grand Final this Sunday, Sept 29 at Figtree Oval (3PM). Figtree Oval is located on Princes Highway, Figtree next to Westfields and opposite McDonalds.

The draw for the first ever AFL Youth Girls Under 18 National Championships has been released. The draw will utilise a two pool system, giving teams three preliminary games and a finals match.
ACT/NSW will play Victoria (main team), WA and South Australia.
