Gold Nugget Camp

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To qualify for the Gold Nuggets Camp you had to be selected from the final Academy Camp.

• "Live-in" weekend camps (under supervision) for a total of 80 boys (8 regional camps by 4 up-age boys and 6 down age boys) and 80 girls selected from the regional Academies.
• Camps conducted in October each year and directed by the BVCC Director of Coaching.
• Camps provided for advanced individual and team skill development.
• 20 players will be selected from this camp per age group and sex for either the Country Cup at Albury (up age boys & girls) or the Southern Cross Cup at Ballarat (down age boys & girls) and the Country Cup at Albury(down age boys & girls). They are then placed in 2 teams Goldminers and Bushrangers.
