Stratford Football Netball Club commences pre season attack on 2010
Stratford Football Netball Club is ready to embark on their senior football campaign for season 2010 under newly appointed coach Peter Morrison with the club ready to kick off their preseason program.
Preseason training commences on Wednesday 17th November at 6.00pm at the Stratford Recreation Reserve, followed by a barbeque.

Pulling on the red and white strip as a 15 year old, Peter Morrison will return to the club were he played his first game of senior football before playing at the elite level.
In a major coup for Stratford, Morrison a former South Melbourne and Footscray Victorian Football League player will take to the helm of the Swans with the new coach excited about the season ahead.

HEYFIELD KANGAROOS PREMIERS 2009
A best on ground performance by Heyfield’s pint sized midfielder Luke Conway steered the Kangaroos to their second North Gippsland Football Netball League premiership in three years.
Conway led from the front as he worked hard all day, throwing his body on the line and emerging from the bottom of packs whilst lighting up the forward line finishing the match with a haul of five majors.

CHURCHILL took another step forward in claiming back to back premierships for the first time since 2003 after claiming the first spot in the North Gippsland Football Netball League grand final.

High scoring by Gormandale 77 to Cowwarr 40 ensured the Tigers pushed for the week’s break, the home side drawing level on points with last years reigning premiers Woodside.

Melbourne Vixens player Wendy Jacobsen and former Australian Netballer Shelley OâDonnell will be special guests at Heyfieldâs clash with Cowwarr Saints at the Gordon Street Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
