Comments: |
|
Pukatja have won their way throught to their first Grand Final with a gutsy |
8 point win over Amata. The first half was tight and saw Pukatja lead by a goal at the long break. |
The third term Pukatja took control of the match and kicked 4 goals to none to lead by 27 points at |
the last change. Amata dug deep in the last quarter and if it wasn't for some wasteful kicking for |
goal, they could have snatched the match from Pukatja. Amata kicked 3 goals, 7 behinds to fall |
short by 8 points. Amata have enjoyed another succesful season in the Far North West Sports |
League and are to be congratulated. Pukatja are now preparing to stop Mimili taking out back to |
back premierships when they meet this Saturday in the 2008 Far North West Sports League |
Grand Final. We strongly encourage all communities to get to Ernabella to watch both the Football |
and Softball games and show your community colours. |
