UFO 2013 BASKETBALL LEAGUE MEETING
The United Filipino Organization will hold a meeting for participating teams in the 11th Inter-Organizational Basketball League this Monday, Aug. 19, 6:30pm at the Don Pedro Restaurant across Gener’s Barbershop in Garapan.
UFO president Annamae Adaza said the meeting will finalize the upcoming league’s ground rules, kick-off date, schedules of games, and all other pertinent matters that needed to be discussed.
She added that UFO already finalized the playing venue for the league after selecting the TSL Sports Complex. Adaza also said TSL Foundation is one of the sponsors of the league.
The UFO caging will also be having a best in uniform and best muse competition during the opening ceremony.
Adaza said the league is hoping to have three divisions for the 2013 competition— the masters, open, and youth divisions.
Marpac/Budweiser has already agreed to bankroll the masters division and Adaza said she is asking other businesses to sponsor the open and youth divisions.
