NYBA - DFS Invitational First Day of Action

For the first day of action in the 2007 NYBA-DFS Invitational Basketball Tournament spectators witnessed the first game between Sixers and G-Rollers in the Division 1 which is the 12years old and under. Sixers handed G-Rollers their first loss of the tournament with a 47-16. Roxanne Duenas exploded for 30points to lead the Sixers.

Second Game of Action was between the Barrigada Crusaders going up against Ol'Aces in the 15 & under girls division. Ol'Aces prevailed with a score of 74-34. Chelsea Ruluked was the leading scorer with 21 points.

Third Game of Action was a default since Dededo Dragons team from Guam did not arrive Saipan on time. G-Rollers took the victory in the boys 15 & under.

Fourth Game of Action ( Boys Division 2) was between Jesse Tudela's Sonics and Barrigada Crusaders. This game was a close game with a score of 55-54 going to the Sonics. Sonics was led by Ron Catap with 13points and Ed Solito with 12points. Barriga Crusaders was led by Eric Santos with26 points.

Fifth Game was between G-Rollers White vs Team Sakudi. Team Sakudi blow out the game with an 87-55 over G-
Rollers White. Ivan Deviro pumped in 27-points and was backed up by Nate Mateo with 19-points. G-Rollers White was led by Ton Webb with 16-points.

Sixth Game was another forfeit since Team Dragons from Guam did not arrive early for this competion. Jesse Tudela's Sonics won this game by default in the Boys Division 3.

Seventh Game- Team Seven defeated G-Rollers Red with a 97-39 blow out game in the Boys Division 3. Allen Moses scored 23-points with Won Joo Jung adding 18-points for the winners. Zack Babauta led G-Rollers Red with 10-points in a lossing cause.

Eight Game of the day was between G-Rollers Blue going up against Barrigada Crusaders in the Boys Division 3. It was another blow out with Barrigada Crusaders taking this game. Barrigada Crusaders was led by Jon Eddie Moser with 21-points and backed by Nate Torres with 16-points. G-Rollers Blue was led by Manny Matagolai with 14-points.
