Palau Participates in 2004 MBT
With one week left, the Men and Women's National Teams continue to practice in preparation for the 2004 Micronesian Basketball Tournament(MBT) to be held in Agana, Guam from 5 - 10 July 2004. The Men's Team is head coached by Topps Sungino and the Assistant Coach is Deitrich Saburo. The Women's Team is Head Coached by Burton Wong and the Assistant Coach is George Domingo. The MBT is held every 4 years for the Micronesian Region. The last MBT was held in the Republic of the Marshall Islands in 2000. The Palau Men's team won the Gold over Guam and the Palau Women's team lost the Gold to Guam.
