Oceania’s latest Olympians take to the track.
The eyes of the Pacific Islands were drawn to the Olympic Stadium as 9 Oceania athletes took to the track for the men’s 100m preliminary rounds. Athletes from Tonga, Palau, Tuvalu, The Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, American Samoa, The Solomon Islands, Kiribati and The Cook Islands all took part in the 4 heats.

ITF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER IN SOLOMON'S

ITF Development officer for the Pacific Oceania region is in the country to monitor the Junior Mini tennis program in the country, He is Gen Ridgeway from New Zealand.

Gen took over  the Job from Mr Dan Oconnell after he was retire from the job early this year 2012. The ITF Development officer in the Oceania Pacific Region, Gen will be traveling to most of the Pacific islands to check the mini tennis progressing in the region, Gen is in the country for 4 days and will be leaving to Vanuatu on tuseday to  to check their Mini tennis  program before went back to Fiji.
