Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park has a rich history. It was the site of Victoria’s first permanent settlement and seaport and was crucial to the initial growth of the state. Immerse yourself in Victoria’s colonial past by visiting Fort Gellibrand, retrace Ned Kelly’s steps along Battery Road, marvel at the ingenuity of early mariners at Timeball Tower or step back to a time when Point Gellibrand’s piers were the only gateway to a new colony. A cycle or walk along the Bay trail is an excellent way to view the park. Only a short drive from Royal Yacht Club of Victoria.
