Inaugural FFA Cup draw live on Fox Sports

The inaugural Westfield FFA Cup, which started with over 600 clubs in feeder competitions around Australia, will reach its highly anticipated Round of 32 draw on Friday.

National Premier Leagues WA clubs Bayswater City and Stirling Lions and Hyundai A-League outfit Perth Glory will fly the flag for the west in the climactic stages of the competition.

The draw starts at 10am (WA time) and will be shown LIVE on Fox Sports News (Ch 513). It will also be streamed online on the official Westfield FFA Cup home page.

The Westfield FFA Cup launch this year created huge interest around the country with the new cup competition becoming the fourth highest recorded day for traffic on Football Federation Australia’s digital network.

Comprising the 10 Hyundai A-League clubs and 22 teams from local Member Federations across the country, the Round of 32 Draw will be held at Fox Sports studios.

The 32 clubs will be split into three pots for the draw. Pot A will comprise Hyundai A-League semi-finalists, Pot B the six remaining A-League clubs and Pot C will contain the 22 clubs from the various Member Federations.

There will be three matches between A-League clubs, nine all Member Federation affairs and four games between State level teams and A-League outfits.
