SPOTSWOOD'S Lachlan Fogarty is today one of 85 Draft hopefuls gathering at Etihad Stadium for the annual NAB AFL Draft combine.
The four day combine will see the talented young guns put through their paces ahead of November’s draft.
Fogarty will take part in physical and psychological testing and will be interviewed by prospective clubs.
The former Woodsman junior is touted as a potential draft pick after having an impressive year with TAC Cup side the Western Jets.
The talented midfielder competed in the Under-18 All Stars game on the weekend, finishing the game with 14 possessions.
Earlier this year, he also played a key role for the victorious Vic Metro team at the Under-18 National Championships. Fogarty averaged 19 disposals and nine tackles in his three games, earning him All-Australian honours.
Fogarty was also selected in TAC Cup Team of the Year at last month’s Best and Fairest count.
Caroline Springs’ Tristan Xerri was also picked to take part in the Victorian State Combine on Friday.
Xerri also represented Vic Metro at the Under-18 championships. He also played 11 games for the Jets and three games for VFL side the Werribee Tigers.
Last month Xerri played in the annual Young Guns game.
