This Saturday’s historic Country v Metro Community league clash (AFL Victoria Community Cup) has been moved to the Avalon Airport Oval (Chirnside Park), the home of the Werribee Tigers.
The game will now be played at 2.15pm after recent poor weather resulted in Simonds Stadium becoming unavailable.
The U19 clash between AFL Victoria Country and the Victorian Amateur Football Association, and the match between the AFL Victoria County No.2 and VAFA (Prem B- Div 4) will remain at St Albans Reserve in Geelong and will be played at the original stated times of 11.00am and 1.45pm.
The AFL Victoria Community Cup at Avalon Airport Oval, Werribee, will be free entry while the entry costs for St Albans Reserve will remain $10 for adults and free for kids U15.
AFL Victoria would like to apologise for any inconveniences this change will cause and would especially like to thank the Wyndham City Council and the Werribee Football Club for making Avalon Airport Oval available at short notice.
