AFL Victoria is currently seeking expressions of interest for AFL Victoria Development Officer’s in the Western and North-West Metropolitan Regions of Melbourne.
An AFL Victoria Game Development Officer is primarily responsible for the delivery of AFL Victoria’s football development strategy which includes both in-school and after-school environments as well as community-based initiatives. This will include, but is not limited to, the delivery of the Australian Rules clinics and promotions in schools, Sporting Schools programs, NAB AFL Auskick After-School program and promotions, In-school AFL 9s programs, AFL Vic School Holiday Programs, as well as assisting and conducting general Australian Football junior development programs within the school and community-based Australian Football environments.
Successful candidates will have an ability to teach the basic skills of Australian Rules Football and have an understanding of junior football in Victoria. Candidates should also have excellent communication, presentation and time management skills. A current Victorian Car Licence is essential to be able to travel to various centres. Senior Level 2 First Aid is a requirement and a valid WWC Check is also mandatory.
