After a disappointing 2014 season, the Kangaroos are ready to learn from their mistakes and re-claim their authority on the competition.
With new coach Brendan Hallinan leading from the front, and the inclusion of a number of new faces to the group, Club President Craig Ryan says it’s been nice to freshen things up at Kinder Reserve.
Teams fielding in 2015:
This year the club is fielding 8 sides from seniors, right through to our juniors.
How has the pre-season been?
Our pre-season has been one of change. With a new coach and a number of new players joining the club, it has been good to have a bit of a freshen up for everyone.
Who are some of the noteworthy signings for 2015?
With the appointment of former EDFL coach Brendan Hallinan to lead the way in 2015, a number of Alberfeldie players have also made the swap to Kinder Reserve. Troy Magee, Mark Williams, Michael Blundo, Sean Jacobs and Khaled El Houli have all been given the green light while Matthew Hutchesson will also join ranks after moving on from the Essendon Doutta Stars.
What are your expectations for the new season?
We hope that all our junior teams are full and competitive, and that they enjoy their football and the atmosphere that the club offers. We hope that our senior team will make finals again, after a disappointing season last year.
2015 Captain:
Our 2015 is Macauley Goring
