The kick after the siren – hands sweating, heart pumping, the coos and boos of a dozen opposition players standing the mark fill the air.
For the player with Sherrin in hand, they can only hope that all the training done in the backyard as a kid is beneficial, the ball drop straight and kick true.

Glen Orden arrived at Howqua Reserve eager to get another win on the board and keep Manor Lakes’ losing streak alive but as the game progressed, that dream became further and further out of reach.
Despite leading at quarter time, Glen Orden began to trail behind for the rest of the game, the gap widening in the final quarter after the Storm piled on six goals to none to run home 46-point victors.
Celebrating his first win with the Storm, Manor Lakes player Jake Smith said the team was relieved to get the monkey off the back this season. FULL STORY...

Round four was always going to be a good contest, with Newport Power and Wyndhamvale going head-to-head for a chance to keep its unbeaten record intact.
