As Andrew Panayi lined up to kick the winning goal after the final siren last Saturday, he was living every footballers dream.
The chance to be the hero, and in this case bring to an end a winning streak that has lasted 18 months.
History will report that he did not make the distance and Deer Park won the game by four-points.

Deer Park has arguably produced one of their best performances of the season, downing Yarraville-Seddon by just a single point in a thriller at John McLeod Oval.
