It took Deer Park about three minutes at the start of the second half to extinguish any glimmer of hope that Spotswood might have thought it had last Saturday.

Spotswood has chalked up its second win of the season, downing Deer Park by 21-points.
The contest was close all day, as both sides wrestled to take the lead throughout the first three quarters, the margin not exceeding more than four points.
The final term was set up to be a thriller and it seemed that Spotswood would be the team to deliver, holding the Lions scoreless and kicking three unanswered goals to run out 7.18(60) to 5.9(39) victors. READ MORE...
