Hundreds of football fans turned out to witness the return of local football to Whitten Oval to see who would take home the Maribyrnong Cup.

On paper, the match between the ladder’s second and third placed teams at Whitten Oval last weekend was always going to be a tight battle.

UNDER 18s:

As we entered Round 11, fourth and fifth positions seemed to be the only two spots left up for grabs in the top five, with such a big gap between the top three and the rest of the competition.
Three games in the round saw sides from the bottom six trying to close that gap, one of which was Sanctuary Lakes who returned from their bye to take on second placed Newport. FULL STORY HERE...
