COACHES FEELING THE FINALS HEAT

Not only is the weather warm, but as the PNG Games Basketball Tournament moves into the Semi-Final rounds today the coaches are really starting to feel the pressure. With 3,500+ spectators in attendance at the Murray Barracks Courts during the quarter finals there will no doubt be a huge amount of interest today.

The Quarter finals saw Madang, NCD, Southern Highlands and Morobe win their way through to the semi-finals stage in the Womens competition. The Mens division included victories to Morobe, Magang, NCD and Western Highlands Province. These teams will face off today with the winners going directly through to the Gold Medal Match and the losers to the Bronze Medal Match.

Head Coach of the Madang Womens team (pictured) has been leading the way with some excellent game plans to make it to this late stage in the tournament. All teams should be congratulated for their efforts, and well done to all the coaches that have been leading there teams.
