Rhys Martin to take court for Australian Boomers

Wollongong Hawks guard Rhys Martin will make his full international debut for the Australian Boomers against China on Friday night in Perth.

Martin, who joined the club in 2009 was named in a Boomers team full of new faces after a training camp under coach Brett Brown in Perth.

Martin was a late call-up to the camp. He has been playing in the NBL off-season for the Mackay Meteors in the Queensland Basketball League.

After Friday's game the Boomers will play China in Singapore on Sunday.

Boomers team: Damian Martin, Ben Madgen, Clint Steindl, Daniel Dillon, Peter Crawford, David Barlow, Daniel Kickert, Jesse Wagstaff, Luke Nevill, Anatoly Bose, Aron Baynes, Rhys Martin.
