McDONALD'S CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE METEORS
Mackay Basketball is very pleased to announce that McDonald's Restaurants in Mackay will continue as the Meteors exclusive naming rights sponsor for the 2012 Queensland Basketball League season
The Meteors naming rights partnership with McDonalds is now into it's fourth year and since it's inception in 2009, the team has achieved many accomplishments. After a narrow loss to Rockhampton in the 2010 QBL grand final, the McDonalds Meteors created history last year by winning the clubs first ever men's QBL championship.
Mackay Basketball General Manager Joel Khalu said the new deal with McDonalds was a big step forward for the team as preparations begin for their QBL title defence.
"There is no doubting that McDonald's is one of the world's most recognisable brands and our club is excited to continue our partnership with a such a reputable organisation that does so many positive things for our local community," Khalu said.
"McDonald's Mackay owner operator Ron Reseck is a tremendous supporter of Mackay Basketball, at not only the QBL level, but also at the junior grassroots level as well."

The McDonalds Meteors will be announcing 2012 player signings throughout the coming weeks.
