Girl Guides grace the ceremonial platforms
Gaylene Lockington has been in charge of preparing the medal presenters with the correct medals for the winners.
Before the Games began she was recruiting girls for this special task, and from each of the six Guide Groups around the island, she had the job of shortlisting each large group to just six girls.
Each of the girls went through a training programme to ensure that they had the look and style required to give some glamour and grace to the presentation occasions.
Gaylene is very proud of the girls and the way they have represented the Cook Islands at each event.
