TAU Power to the People sponsors

Te Aponga Uira has come on board as a second tier partner (Family Sponsor) for the Pacific Mini Games in the goods and services area.
TAU’s finance manager, Elma Marurai and PMG marketing division’s Karla Eggelton met recently to iron out the details for both parties.
Karla is responsible for signage and images linked to all aspects of the games and she is currently visiting business who indicated their interest in sponsorship.
Te Aponga Uira owns the power poles which are being used to fly flags for the games.
The games has three levels of sponsorship plus media partners.
BCI and Telecom are in the first tier and have naming rights to the national stadium (now BCI stadium, formerly Tereora stadium) and the just completed multi-sport complex (now Telecom Sports Arena).
Merchandising and services sponsors in the second tier include Turtles, Te Aponga Uira, and Cook Islands Trading Company (CITC).
Marketing director Tuingariki Short says those on the third tier are official suppliers such as Air Rarotonga, The Computerman, Origin Gas, Airport Authority. Contracts will be confirmed and signed as soon as possible.
