The Toa Samoa league sevens team have had no time for sightseeing as they eye the gold medal for the league sevens competition.
Yesterday, the team of 12 players hit the Top Shape gym for their morning workout.
Team coach Freddy Tuilagi says his team of young players is definitely fit and ready for the competition.
He says that while only four teams will contest the competition, his team is not going to underestimate any team they face.
“It’s going to be a tough competition,” says Tuilagi.
“We’ve been training hard for a couple of months now and we are ready.”
Tuilagi is also very proud of the fact that his players are all home grown Samoan boys from the motherland.
The first day of the league competition is on Monday September 28 with the finals scheduled for Tuesday September 29.
Games will be played at the BCI stadium in Nikao and will include teams from the Cook Islands, Fiji, Samoa and Tonga.
