WBLL Round 2 Game Previews-

Phoenicians v Uxbridge College, Sun 14th February 1:15pm @ Reynolds Sports Centre

League leaders, Phoenicians, will try to make it 2 wins in a row as they take on Uxbridge College. The team will be at full strength with only a slight doubt over the fitness of the fitness of Kisha Wiltshire, who sustained an ankle injury in last weekends game vs Westside.

Meanwhile, Uxbridge College will make their debut in the competition. In the last round, they had the bye and Coach Leon Dennis has been working his youthful team in practise to prepare for WBLL competition.

Westside v ANZSAC, Sun 14th February 2:45pm @ Reynolds Sports Centre

In the days second game, Westside entertain ANZSAC's in what promises to be an interesting encounter. Westside comes in on the back of a somewhat lacklustre performance against Phoenicians last weekend and will be keen to bounce back despite their victory. Their fortunes will rely heavily on the inside duo of Natalie Iddles, who missed last weekends fixture, and Tereza Hodonava. In games todate, they've formed a formidable inside partnership, both offensively and defensively, and present matchup problems for their opponents.

ANZSAC's will be keen to register a victory, particularly
after the disappointment of forfeiting last weekends opening round. After their
victory in the preseason tournament earlier in the season, they’ve established
themselves as the early favourites but can’t afford to lose any more ground.

This rounds games promises to be highly entertaining so get
down to Reynolds for some ‘real’ Valentines Day action!
