YES basketball is back for Summer 2020/2021.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic basketball in Swan Hill starts back but it will look different to past seasons!

There are rules, regulations & guidelines put in place by SHBA, Basketball Victoria Return to Sport & the Victorian Government so we can provide our players, coaches, referees & spectators a safe return to junior sport in Swan Hill.

These include:- 

**Arrive to your game no earlier than 10 minutes before game time

**The entry door is at the main entry of the stadium

**A Bio Safety Officer will check players into the stadium & they will go directly to their court

**Parents will scan a QR Code & enter directly to the court 

Please note:-

ONLY 1 Spectator (parent/guardian/carer) per child playing at each time slot

NO other Siblings are able to come & watch. 1 player - 1 spectator

Social distancing rules apply

MASKS must be worn indoors at the stadium by anyone over 12 - players & referees do not need to wear a mask while exercising. 

NO Basketballs are to be brought into the stadium game night

The Water fountain is CLOSED - Bring your own drink bottles

The Canteen is closed

After the game all players, helpers & spectators must leave the court throught the exit door (near court 2 ramp) within 5 minutes of finishing the game. The BSO will coordinator this exit of each court.

The next teams will not be able to enter the stadium until the courts, team benches, laptops, scoring devices etc.. have been cleaned.

Then the process starts again for the next time slot. 

You will see our committee members Court Supervisors & BSO clearly in identifying polos & vests to help you through this process each time your child plays basketball.

Also we will notify you the fixtures & teams over the next few days.

Please understand we love the game of basketball & this is the way we are able to return to the courts so we would appreciate you following the guidelines that have been set so basketball can be played in Swan Hill.
