1st Semi U12 Boys - Saints 30 def Tigers 26

U12s are always great to watch in finals, so much enthusiasm as our youngest players put their skill & speed on show. The Tigers boys played well with Chayse Worner never stopping in D & top scoring with 12 points and he was well assisted by Sam Brown with 9 points. Saints player Jimmy Kelly scored all but 10 points for the winners & Jobe Crow hit a couple of nice swishes.

Prelim U12 Boys - Saints 26 def Rebels 21

Saints came out of the blocks and never looked back as they made early baskets & the Rebels shots rolled around the rim & fell out more than in. As in the previous final Jimmy Kelly was top scorer with 20 points mainly from drives while Jed Morris & Mitchell Kelly were best for the Rebels team.

1st Semi U12 Girls - Trotters 28 def Swans 10

Trotters pressured the ball on every possession which saw Isla Beasy intercept any stray passes & push the ball into the offensive end with results. Meg Young & Sadie Spitty worked hard for the Swans but it just wasn't their night. Top scorers Trotters: Prue O'Sullivan 14 points, Isla Beasy 6 points & Arna Carroll 4. Swans: Sadie Spitty 4

Prelim U12 Girls - Rebels 20 def Trotters 18

This game was a 2pt thriller that displayed a nervous finals feel for players & spectators. A fast game throughout, coast to coast layups & steals galore. Ruby Ryan played a ripper of a game at both ends scoring 10 points & was well supported by Violet Corrie 8. Trotters were a little unlucky with the ball not falling in the final stages of the game with best for Trotters Prue O'Sullivan scoring 6 & Pippa White actively being in the play & chasing the ball down.

1st Semi U14 Boys - Trotters 33 def Untouchables 27

A great combination for Trotters in Bryce Anderson & Max Thompson saw them help their team take out this final. In a game where all players involvement & improvement was great to see, Sonny Beasy was best for the Untouchables scoring 14 & Bryce Anderson hit 11 for Trotters.

Prelim U14 Boys - Tigers 41 def Trotters 34

Rebounding by talls Jobe Roberts & Seamus Doherty found Tynan Perry for him to finish with 21 points mostly in offensive transition. Bryce Anderson & Max Thompson played well & Trotters fought back within the last 5 minutes but the difference was too much to get them over the line.

1st Semi U16 Boys - Tigers 38 def Trotters 30

Another game where rebounding & put backs determined the result, it was Kai Everett who dominated the paint with 17 points for the Tigers. Kal Hazlett also played well being disruptive in defense & finished with 12 well earned points. Jonah Devlin was able to attack in offence & Wil Hawkins followed suit with 8 points to push the Tigers to earn their win.

Prelim U16 Boys - Saints 42 def Tigers 35

For the majority of the game it was a pretty even contest inside the key & the result was decided by Saints running out the game much better than the Tigers group. Kai Everett was a focal point for Tigers with 16 points & Wil Bennett played one of his better scoring games with 17 points.

Prelim U16 Girls - Swans 36 def Saints 21

The run of Ava Seymour and Jayda Kelly helped the Swans take out this final by 15 points. Mikayla O'Meara (6 points) also played well around the basket and took control especially when Milla Holt from Saints fouled out. Saints kept fighting & even with Georgie Cameron's 12 point contribution the Swans team never looked in doubt of advancing to the Grand Final.

Prelim U19 Girls - Saints 46 def Tigers 21

This game was played in good spirits with all girls looking like they were enjoying themselves. Tash Kelly was hitting 3s & Taylen Blachford was using her height to her advantage. Hannah Morton was the shining light from Tigers posting 14 points of the 21 scored.

1st Semi U19 Boys - Saints 68 def Speewa 46

All players from the Saints team came ready to play with Quinn Grey from the perimeter, Matty Gardner proving tough in D and Darcy Woodward scoring layups stopping any hope of Speewa advancing to the prelim final. As much as Noah Sherlock (15 points), Lachie Martin (15 points) & Tyson Hartshorn (10 points) all scored well they were unable to stop the attacking Saints game.

Prelim U19 Boys - Saints 39 def Rebels 32

This final saw Saints Matty Gardner's all round game lead the team into the grand final next week. Darcy Woodward had another consistant game & was strong around the basket. Rebels did make a late charge in the final stages of the game however time ran out. Ruan Drotsky's skill & determination pushed him to finish the game as top scorer with 19 points.
