Kyabram has come from two goals down to grab its first Goulburn North East Football Association women's league point of the season with a 3-3 draw against Numurkah.

The Go-Annas scored three goals in a game for the first time since joining the women's league in 2007 to deny Numurkah its first win of the season.

At the top of the ladder, Shepparton South and Shepparton both maintained their 100 per-cent start to the season with a third consecutive win.

But Sunday's big comeback was at Numurkah recreation reserve, where goals to Kim Kenny, Marlene Strebe and Carina Shaw grabbed Kyabram its second ever draw in women's competition.

Goals to Jacqui Devlin, Gabby Gasparroni and Stacey Tomasino in the first half had given Numurkah the upper hand.

But Knights coach John Vanderzwaan said his team ``thought the job was done'' and slackened off to let Kyabram back in.

``In the first half we weren't awake, in the second we picked up a bit,'' Kyabram coach Nunz Anastasia said.

``Carina Shaw had most of the set-up play (for the goals), Kim Kenny out wide played very well.''

At Barooga Recreation Reserve a hat-trick to Sophie Findlay earned Shepparton South a 3-2 win against Cobram Victory.

South led 2-0 at half time but goals to Nicole Startari and Imogen Head put Victory back in the game before Findlay netted her third to take all the points.

Shepparton joined South with three wins from three at the top of the ladder after a late penalty converted by Suzan Tanrikulu snared it a 1-0 win against Cobram.

The Reds exacted revenge for their preliminary final exit last year to the Tigers when Rachel Wilkinson was tripped in the penalty area and won a spot-kick with two minutes remaining.

Cobram had missed a golden opportunity to win the match minutes earlier when Tammy Thatcher set Jacinta Dikkenberg free one-on-one with Reds goalkeeper Rebecca Bowls but Dikkenberg blazed over the bar.

Benalla's Liz Mason was the match-winner at Churchill Reserve in the other round three match _ her two goals giving the Rovers a 2-1 win against Shepparton United.
