Shepparton United's Ahmet Savran is the division two best and fairest of North Eastern Soccer League after winning the vote count on Saturday night.
Savran took out the award with 23 votes from South's Daniel Nardella on 19.
``I'm not much on speeches,'' Savran said.
``I just want to thank my teammates and the fans for all their great support during the season.''

While Jess Theobald's name is usually synonymous with soccer success, the United striker completed an undesirable hat-trick at the weekend.
The 18-year-old took out the top scorer's award in the North Eastern league this season with 42 goals, but finished second in the best and fairest for the third straight year.
Theobald's tally of 28 votes finished second behind Cobram Victory's Georgia Oudeman on 35, a bigger gap than in the past few years.
Tatura's Derya Tanrikulu tipped Theobald into second place last year by two votes, while Shepparton South's Claire Hepper was just one vote up in 2006.
Theobald took out the award in 2005 and, despite the run of second-placed finishes in the votes, has won back-to-back leading goal-scorer awards.
``I still polled a lot more votes than I was expecting,'' Theobald said.
``I didn't think I would end up in second.''
