Kialla United's future in Goulburn North East Football Association will be the hot topic for discussion when the league's newest club meets with competition administration in the coming weeks.

The first-year club has responded to a recent call from current secretary Danny Lythgo for volunteers by unearthing five senior figures to take on administration roles for the rest of this season.

But the league is eager to hear what long-term plans the club has to ensure its sustainability on and off the field beyond the end of its inaugural year.

Lythgo, who said he would stand down from the club if volunteers did not come forward, has also indicated that next year he would not shoulder the same workload as the current season.

"We've got five senior leaders that have jumped up to put their hand up and come on the committee," Lythgo said.

`We've got to convert them from leaders to doers."

Lythgo said immediate duties for the new volunteers, some from the Ethnic Council of Shepparton, included assisting with ground set-up, code of conduct enforcement, training supervision, player expectations and accountability around the club.

"I'm in the process of assigning people to the roles of secretary, treasurer, registrations and results," Lythgo said.

"I won't be doing any of those roles next year.

"The future of the club is based with their juniors. The under-14s and under12s are showing big signs and the (unbeaten) under16s are our benchmark."

Goulburn association secretary Sam Saracino said competition administration was eager to meet with Kialla United to see the work going on off-field.

"Not only us as directors would need to be happy, but we'll take the ideas for the club and the future direction to our (the league's other) clubs because we think it's imperative that they're involved," Saracino said.

"We would like to see Danny (Lythgo) stay involved in the club in some capacity as an adviser or administrator, helping get his message across to key people to take the club forward."
