Tatura will aim to shore up a finals berth as it takes on Cobram Victory this weekend at Scott Oval in round 19 of the women's North Eastern Soccer League.

Tatura currently sits in fourth position on the league ladder, six points clear of Victory, with a win closing the door on the top four.

``A win would put us nine points clear with only two rounds left,'' Tatura coach Rocco Bagnato said.

``We beat them pretty well last time, so I hope we can repeat the performance.''

Bagnato said he was waiting on confirmation on whether star trio Sophie Findlay, Lucy Ciancio and Derya Tanrikulu would be available, with all three women expected to line-up for the Vipers in the state league this weekend.

``Hopefully they are available. If not we will have to get a couple of girls up from the Under-14s to help us out,'' he said.

``It is hard for us. None of the top teams have women playing for the Vipers. I don't think there has been a week where we have managed to put the same team on the park.

``If we can get all our players together for the finals I think we can be a dangerous side.''

Bagnato said with or without his stars, it would be up to his forwards to lead the way.

``Attack is our strength, we will rely on our girls to kick a few goals and hopefully get us the win.''

He said if his side does go down this week, there were still two more chances to secure fourth spot with games against Numurkah and ladder-leader Shepparton United.

``It will be a pretty hard game against United, but I think if we didn't win this week we could get the points against Numurkah.''

In the other matches, Shepparton will be looking to stay in touch with second place Cobram when it plays Shepparton South at Rumbalara, Cobram will be aiming to hold second spot playing Numurkah, while bottom side Kyabram will be looking for its first win of the year taking on fellow cellar-dweller Shepparton South.
