Four is fine
North Eastern Soccer League has ruled out switching from a final four to a final five next season.
With rumours currently circulating that the absence of Griffith teams Hanwood and Yoogali has made the North Eastern competition attractive to some surrounding Victorian teams, any additions won't increase the number of finalists.
In fact, the men's division one competition will have to be sporting 10 teams before the proposition of a final five becomes serious.
