North Eastern Soccer League found its road trip as tricky as the wind in Geelong on Sunday.

The league's youth program teams came away with three wins from the eight matches, with the under-12 boys (3-2), under-16 boys (3-nil) and junior girls (4-1) all completing the double over Geelong after wins in Shepparton a fortnight ago.

James Billington scored the winning goal for the under-12s after Tyler Pedretti (inside 12 seconds) and Jordan Ridd scored cracking long-range goals.

Mitchell Anderson, Nicholas Trimboli and Gokhan Tanrikulu made sure of the points for the under-16 boys.

The girls' goals were highlighted by an effort from goalkeeper Ashley Dick, along with strikers from Stacey Tomasino and Deyra Tanrikulu. The fourth goal was an own goal.

Co-ordinator Sam Saracino said he was pleased with the results.

"I guess the positive was that all of our teams showed an improvement on the previous week's results in Shepparton," he said.

"The other positive was that we managed to win three games on the road, as opposed to two when they came to Shepparton."

The under-11s were beaten 3-1 despite leading for most of the match after Ben Mammone scored in the first period.

The under-13s lost 3-nil; the under-14s lost 2-1 despite going ahead from the boot of Tatura's Dylan Moncur; the under-15s lost 1-nil; and the under-16 girls were beaten despite goals from Bianca Dikkenburg and Gabby Gasparroni.

NESL plays host to Albury-Wodonga on Sunday, starting at 9.30 am.
