Victory considers appealing decision

Cobram Victory is still in the process of deciding whether or not to appeal a points deduction all the way to the Football Federation of Victoria.
The game in question is the 3-2 win to the Victory over Shepparton South in round four.
Despite receiving a red card in the Victory's previous match against Yoogali, Frank Bazzano played against Shepparton South and scored two goals.
Last Thursday, the North Eastern Soccer League appeals board upheld the league tribunal's previous ruling of a 3-0 win to Shepparton South, with three points deducted from Cobram Victory, and a $50 fine.
Cobram Victory secretary Belinda Franco said the club committee had not yet decided on making another appeal.
"We feel we won the game fair and square and the points are ours," Franco said.
"It will be a committee decision as to whether we appeal to the Victorian federation or not."
League president Frank Trimboli made it clear that it was the Victorian referees' association that would decide on a sanction for the referee who issued but did not register Bazzano's red card.
"The league remains neutral for the tribunal, but if we allow red cards to be rescinded, then suddenly every red card would be negotiable," Trimboli said.
Head of Victorian referee development Chris Pembridge said a decision would not be made on the referee until the league filed a full report.
