The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of Laniesha Paddon for the 2022 NBL1 West season.

The 6’0” forward joined the Pack in 2018 and has continued to grow year in and year out. Being a young player doesn’t stop Laniesha from stepping up and playing her role with confidence; she can often be seen using her athleticism and aggression to get to the rim and finish a play with ease. Laniesha will be a great additional offensive threat on the Wolfpack to occupy opponents’ minds. The Wolfpack are excited to have her back and feel fortunate to continue watching the growth and impact Laniesha will have on the court this season.

When asked about signing with the Wolves this season Laniesha said,

“I am excited to be playing for the Wolves again in 2022. We have such a high calibre coach and players who are all such amazing people. I love the facilities, the environment and, of course, our amazing home crowd who create such an awesome atmosphere at our home games. I feel lucky to be a part of such a supportive and professional club. I am so excited for 2022!”

New NBL1 Women’s Head Coach, Marcus Wong, had this to say about Laniesha.

“Laniesha is an exciting young prospect. Watching some of her games last season she was able to impact the game whenever she stepped on the floor. We see her having a bigger role in 2022 and embracing that opportunity. It will be great to see her continued development and what she brings to the Wolves this season.”
