Brand and Marketing Coordinator, The Wolves Welcome Joely Bouckaert

The WBA wishes to welcome Joely Bouckaert to the position of Brand and Marketing Coordinator. Joely graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Public Relations. Joely has previous experience working in social media and events with The Rottnest Channel Swim Association, international relations in New York City, social media and marketing for The Swan Valley Retreat and public relations with OKMG.

Joely will be taking over the role from Matt Rushmere. Joely has a strong passion for the communications industry which will allow her to bring new and creative ideas to the WBA. Joely will continue to build strong relationship with both WBA’s online platform and the Wolves Community. Joely’s full-time role at the WBA will involve but not limited to developing new and exciting marketing strategies to increase awareness, managing the WBA and Wolfpack social media, developing relationships with local media outlets, managing the Wolfpack Wear merchandise range, assist in events and creating digital content.

Joely has this to say about joining the WBA team “I’m looking forward to learning off Matt and meeting everyone that is a part of the Wolfpack. I’m excited to start sharing my ideas and help to build the Wolves brand. This is the start of my marketing career and I’m so glad I get to start it at the Wanneroo Basketball Association. Everyone has been very welcoming; I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone in the WBA.”

Over the years, Matt has done an outstanding job in the role. He has built a strong online community and created so many new ideas to share with the Wolfpack community.

“After doing every Wolves social media post for the last 10 years it's going to be really weird seeing posts that I don't know about,  but after meeting Joely I'm so excited to see where she is going to take our social media with all her new ideas and expertise in this field, we are in safe hands!” Says Matt Rushmere

Matt isn’t going anywhere just yet; he will be working part time over the transition period with Joely.

“The Wolfpack Brand is something we take very seriously and have invested a lot of time and energy in to over the years so we are excited to see where Joely can take it. We plan to add even more member engagement initiatives than we have done in the past and will undertake a complete overhaul of our website as well as delivering digital and video content strategies. I would like to thank Matt for all the work he has done in this space and I look forward to what the future holds for the Wolves brand.” Said CEO Andrew Summerville

We look forward to having Joely on the team and we are looking forward to seeing what Joely can bring to the WBA.
