The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the re-signing of Eleanor Hartill for the 2021 NBL1 West season.

The 6’1 forward started her SBL career in 2017 and improved every year since. She has played both D-League and SBL for the Wolves and had a breakout year in the WCC last season. We are looking forward to the impact that Eleanor can bring to the first NBL1 West season.

Eleanor spoke to the Joondalup Wolves on her thoughts about re-signing for 2021.

“The reason that I have resigned is that this club is they give me the opportunity to better myself and become the best player I can be through the competitive environment created, all the girls are amazing and help you if you ever need it, they also push you when you need a push.”

Joondalup Wolves Women’s Head Coach Charles Nix shared his thoughts on Eleanor re-signing for the NBL1 West season.

“Ellie has been in our squad for the entire time I’ve been at the wolves and we continue to see growth and maturity out of her every single year, this year is no exception. Ellie brings a lot of energy and can get under the skin of the opposition which is a skill that value, she is also one of the fittest in our team and really stretches teams out with her ability to run the lanes. I think another year in our system can only help with Elli’s development, it’s tough being a big in our game because they take a little longer to come along. If Ellie is patient and keeps working hard I can’t see why she won’t be a very good player for us over a number of years.”

Eleanor will be joining Kayla Steindl, Nes’eya Williams, Izzy Miotti, Chelsea Belcher, Amy Kidner, Georgia Denehey, Amber Land, Alix Hayward, Tia Ucich and Olivia Basso on the Wolves Women’s roster in 2021.
