A MESSAGE FROM WANNEROO BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (1 February 2022)

Masks must be worn at all times indoors by everybody aged 12 and over (unless medically exempt), other than competitors when they are physically training and playing on court (exercising vigorously).

• Please note that players on the bench should wear a mask during games;

• Players are allowed a reasonable amount of time to have a drink and recover when they leave play and rest on the bench, but then must ensure they have a mask on.

• Players who have not subbed into the game yet must have a mask on.

• Players must wear masks to and from games.

• Masks can be taken off once the warmup has begun.

• Masks must be worn immediately after the game’s conclusion.

• At training, coaches that are involved with their team on court may temporarily remove/lower their mask to talk but must replace it immediately after.

• During games, coaches must wear a mask on the bench.

• Scorers must wear a mask on the score bench.

• Team managers must wear a mask.

• During games, referees may remove their mask but must wear a mask immediately before and after games.

• It is a requirement that masks are worn at all other times and we ask you adhere to this requirement.
