Emma Klasztorny joins the Pack in 2023
The Chambers Franklyn City of Joondalup Wolves are excited to announce the signing of former Goldfield Giants forward Emma Klasztorny for the 2023 NBL1 West season.
Emma is an experienced NBL1 player known for her outstanding scoring and rebounding skills, averaging 15.4 points and 8 rebounds a game in the 2022 season. Coming to the Wolves, we believe Emma will be a great addition and look forward to watching her dominate on the court in 2023!
Women’s Head coach Marcus Wong had this to say about Emma’s signing:
“We are really excited to have Emma join us; she will not only bring a wealth of experience but also a defensive toughness that we missed last year. Emma almost averaged a double-double last season and is one of the most experienced players in the league so for us to add her into an already exciting squad is an absolute bonus. You can already tell that she will fit into our culture really well, and it gives us the flexibility to move players into different roles and positions based on our needs from game to game.”
Emma had this to say about her signing:
Last season I ruptured my PCL and like with any injury it takes a player some time to process. I believe that some things happen for a reason and this setback has made me more determined and disciplined to chase my goals. I want this season to be one of my best and I believe being a part of the Wolfpack will help me achieve this.
The Wolves team is very united, professional and they work very hard on the court; something I can't wait to become more a part of. NBL1 West is getting stronger every year and I’m ready for the competition to begin and to be challenged every week alongside my amazing Wolves teammates (who have done nothing but embrace me joining their team).
Green is definitely one of my favourite colours and I can’t wait to be a part of the culture and represent the Wolves!!
Emma will be joining teammates Robbi Ryan, Teige Morrell, Chelsea Belcher, Shani Amos, Tia Ucich, Nes’eya Parker-Williams, Akim Lual and Izzy Miotti in the 2023 NBL1 season.
