Under 18 Cyclones Take out 2012 Championships

Our boys travelled down to Bundaberg on Friday, playing Wide Bay Tigers Friday evening and Darling Downs Crows Sunday morning. This is the first year that the U’18’s QLD state team is selected through Gold Coast Suns and Brisbane Lions Academies instead of Regional Championships such as this. The Academies allow Talent Development staff to identify, nurture and develop players at a quicker rate.

North Queensland Under17s All Stars v Sandgate Under16s Football Club

On Friday 23rd of September 2011, boys from all over North Queensland travelled to Townsville for a Training and Pool session before taking on Sandgate Under16s Football Club, who are the powerhouse of the Brisbane Juniors competition.

Round 9 of the Trend Interior Carpet and Tile Court AFL Capricornia Premiership Season saw all 3 matches played in the Northern End of the Region. The top of the table clash between Glenmore and Yeppoon was hosted by the Swans at Swan Park with the Swans registering a hard fought 4 point win.
