Harrup Park was the venue for the Capricornia AFL trials on the 18th-19th April. Mackay was well served by representatives from state and independent schools across the district.

The boys played four games with wins against Keppel Coast, Port Curtis and a combined Central Highlands/Denham sides. Our only defeat was against a committed Rockhampton side which stifled our attacki more -->
