IF you're a junior footballer without a club then Anakie wants you. The Roos are chasing at least four more members to field an under-16 side this season as part of their plans to rebuild the small club.
Anakie won an under-14 premiership two years ago but had to watch helplessly as its youngsters, who were unable to progress to the next junior grade with the Roos, moved to other clubs. Fourteen of those young footballers have returned and are keen to pull on an Anakie jumper in 2010.

The club would also try to organise transport for youngsters who wanted to play but were unable to travel to the ground. The young Roos train at Anakie Recreation Reserve each Thursday from 5pm.
