2008 ADFBA National Combined Championships

The ADF National Basketball Championships were held December 2008 at RAAF Base Williams, Laverton Victoria.

The Women's competition was won by Victoria who recalaimed the crown for first time since Fremantle 2001. The New South Wales men won their 11th National Championship and their sixth over the last seven years. This was a special tournament which coincided the 25th Anniversary of Australian Defence Force Basketball.

Fiona Harris led the NT team to the final, taking MVP honours; while Richard Vandersnoek took the Men's trophy for NSW. Victoria cleaned up the Player's Player Award through Heather Marsh and Andrew Olechnowicz.

The three point-shoot out was owned by QLD with Scott Bradley and Julie Williams showing the way.

Lucas Telley was awarded the Major Greg 'Frenchie' MacDougall Award for his long and ongoing contribution to the ADFBA.
