EHS A Squires secure semis seat in ISL Boys Jr. varsity hoopfest
Emmaus High School (EHS) A Squires barged their way into the semifinals after beating Belau Modekngei School, 69-37 in the ongoing 2011 Inter-School League (ISL) Junior boys basketball league.
Corleon led the scoring chores for the Squires with 13 baskets while Yamato topscored for BMS with 14 on the losing end.
With the win, the Squires will Palau Mission Academy (PMA) Warriors in the semis while league leader Palau High School (PHS) Spiders will face Mindszenty High School (MHS) Cardinals.
The losers will battle for the consolation game set today at 4 p.m. at the Palau National gym while the winners will meet for the championship on November 23 also at the Palau National gym.
