Bulls, Rams aim to close series in FBL Division Finals

After taking Game One of their separate division finals, contenders Ilocandia Bulls and Rams are looking to close down their series as they take on separate rivals, Sunday in Game Two of the Division Finals of the Filipino Basketball League (FBL) at the Palau National gym.

After taking a 108-97 win in Game One, the Ilocandia Bulls are looking to close the series against the Surangel Stars as the collide anew at 2:30 p.m. The Bulls are looking for their first ever division title since joining back in the league.

The Bulls will heavily rely on the troika of Edward Baysa, Marvic Ngchar and RB Dorado for points but they will also be banking on Raul Osias, Joeger Supnet, Ryan Cacho and Dondon Cabasal.

On the other hand, Surangel Stars are looking to level the series and push it to a winner take all Game three as they went back to the drawing boards to sort out a plan how to dismantle the Bulls’ offense.

The Stars will have brothers Leo and Ronald Magcalas, ace scorer Arnold Undecimo, Dines “The Flash” Demate, Rex “T-Rex” de Asis, Ador “The Scavenger” Hilvano, Bong Gayongorza, Ernie “The Tank” Bautista, ZJ “Baby Face” Asido, Anthony Bruzula and Rodel “Think Tank” Flores.

In Division B, the Rams came up with surprises up their sleeves as they took Game One of their own series via 95-93 over Liquid Skyy Dragons. The Rams gun to close the series as they will have Jake Mahor, Ronald Reyes, John Lloyd Corpuz, Alvin and Jhun Magcalas, Ronnel Dato and Marty Lumigis.

The Dragons will have brothers Dovie and Leomar de Jesus, Kim, Ninoy and Vic Agsalud, Gomer Miguel, Jun Bautista, Rene Bautista, Jerome Castillo, Bogs Sanchez and Sonny Aliposo with Ricky Erese as playing coach.
