Master bball resumes Sunday with four games
Four games will usher the resumption of the 2014 Filipino Master League basketball tournament, Sunday at the Palau National gym.
League leader Gilas Originals will gather themselves and dedicate their games to their coach Jun Apostolero, who passed away last August 23, as they face Surangel and Sons in the curtain raiser at 11 a.m.
Sporting a 4-0 win-loss record, the Originals will be bannered by veteran skipper Jimmy Domingo, Cid Aquino, Sonny Jacinto, Demar “The Dragon” Mondragon, Lito Cruzat and Ferdie Gundran while Surangel and Sons (0-3) will rely on the Rafael Paloma-led squad as they try to break the ice and enter the winning column.
In other games, MogMog Rats and Stars will meet WCTC Red Rooster at 12:30 p.m. as Kabalikat will face Melusch Dil at 2 p.m. while PPR All Stud will take on Mason’s Hardware in the main game at 3:30 p.m.
