The Maryborough District Health Service is partnering with The Western Bulldogs for “The Sons of The West’ men’s health program 2020.
The Sons of the West program is a community health initiative about supporting men to lead healthier lives driven by the Western Bulldogs.
The program commences on Wednesday 18th March and runs for 10 weeks. It is free program for men over the age of 18. Sessions run on a Wednesday night for 2 hours from 6.30 to 8.30pm at The Maryborough Education Centre Balaclava Drive Maryborough.
The focus is on different health topics with exciting guest speakers followed by a physical activity by local community sporting groups. There are loads of giveaways and incentives, including Western Bulldogs merchandise and tickets to a game.
We invite you to support this men’s health program and to consider taking the opportunity to use the Avoca Sporting & Recreation Committee’s new 12 seater bus to transport participants to ‘The sons of The West’ men’s health program in Maryborough.
The Maryborough District Health Service will help with advertising and registering for the program and names and numbers for the bus provided someone is willing to drive the bus. Please find attached a flyer with more information and registration details.
