2000 Senior Premiers B Grade VAFA
It was an excellent game with Mazenod kicking 7.2 to Brighton’s 2.6 in the first term. Brighton could not bridge the gap in the second term but their third quarter was much better and by the final break only trailed by 2 points. In a ripping final term it was goal for goal for a while but Mazenod held on 17.7 to 14.18.

Mazenod take off first flag. Mazenod Old Collegians capped off an eventful season with an exciting win in the ESCFA E Grade grand final on Saturday. Their reserves team however had to be content with being runners up for the flag. Noble Park were Mazenods opponents in both matches, played at Lewis Rd, Wantirna South.
