More than a Manager

At Diamond Creek Basketball Club, every team has a coach and a Team Manager. The role of a Team Manager is fairly straightforward with a few key responsibilities. These include; 

 

•   Being a point of contact for player's and their families

•   Creation of a scoring roster for the season

•  Distribution of information regarding training times and game times via SMS or email.

 

These tasks sound simple and are very easily achieved but the role of the Team Manager should not be underestimated. A good Team Manager can enhance the Basketball experience for parents and players alike as well as increase their child's feelings of worth and belonging.

 

Ideally, Team Managers will be the parent of one of the players in a team. If you are interested in becoming a Team Manager, please take the time to read the Roles and responsibilities of a Team manager document.
